Batman Portrait (oil on canvas) Progress
Goin for a semi-realistic feel, lookin at Alex Ross and Brian Bolland. Normally I wouldn't....I prefer a more cartoony Bats....Timm...Toth....Pope....Cooke....Brave and The Bold (love that show)....but I wanted to paint something dark and gritty and slightly real...so there ya go...

Logan (oil & bitumen on canvas)
Did some glazing with the purple over the skull to knock it back. Happy with the way it drips down and suggests mountains/background. I wanted a dark/cold/bleak feel...Wednesday, December 2, 2009
